Join us for our February 7 NACE Meeting

Don't miss our February NACE meeting featuring speaker, Russ Kempton as he takes us on a journey through Scotland with tastings of seven single malts and blends. You will gain new knowledge and understanding for Scotch whiskies history, mystic and heritage. 

Russ Kempton is known as the "Spirited Speaker" with over three decades of educating others on distilled spirits and wine. He is a contributing author on several beverage books and can be regularly seen educating guests at the Mid Atlantic Wine + Food Festival. 

Granberry Hills Event Center will provide a beautiful backdrop with their Garden Side venue and a delicious meal catered by Spice of Life.

A Petite Chafer of melted brie and wild mushroom dip, with curried naan chips

Butler Service Chilled shrimp brochettes, with an olive remoulade

An active Chef station featuring toasted Plantain “nachos” topped with crab and mango, crumbled white cheese and avocado butter

6:45pm - 7:30pm Opening Announcements and Plated Dinner

Salad:

Pink grapefruit and asparagus salad with roasted peppers, pinenuts, and chopped egg with a creamy citrus drizzle

Entree: 

Classic Country Cassoulet:  A S-L-O-W braise of smoke pork and spicy chicken sausage on melted white beans served with savory cabbage and a medley of roasted beets

Dessert:

Red Raspberry crème brulee, laced with chocolate soaked genoise served with fresh berries and a fancy tuile cookie

7:30pm - 8:30pm Education Program
